Next	The castle stands on a large rock outcrop, with only one gentle aproach. The other edges, like this one are cliffs. This view is looking down the Sandstone ridge wich carries the "Sandstone Trail" footpath. On the hill facing us we can see Peckforton Castle. This is not actually a castle, but an extravagant house built in the style of a castle. This is also worth a visit if it is open (privately owned).	Previous
