Situated between the two bridges on the river Weaver, this was one of the old Boatyards, with its sideways launching slipways (peculiar to Northwich) still visible. To the far left, Town bridge is visible, and the shops around the Bullring. The back of Parrs Bank (no longer a Bank) is visible, just where the river Dane flows in to the Weaver. Parrs bank was the last building to be lifted. Dane bridge is then vissible as the very low bridge just over the river Dane, then the floating Hotel, To the right of the Marina, is Hayhurst bridge, and beyond that, the British Waterways Yard.
