Dam and Train - Rudyard Lake

Here at the end of the Dam you can see the old bridges and workings of the dam, including a splendid spillway (unlikely to see any use now). The Lake has warnings against swimming, because of bluegreen algae that can sometimes apear, but the water is beutifully clear, and fish are abundant. The train is only a few steps away from the lake, visible just behind the steps to the bridge.

You may get a java out of memory error, depending on the size of your machine, and its java configuration. you can still view the jpeg image normally, but the effect will not be the same.
